زيلينسكي: شكراً ترمب.. الخطة تتضمن وجهة نظرنا – أخبار السعودية

أكد الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، اليوم (الأحد)، أن المقترحات الأمريكية لإنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا قد تتضمن عدداً من العناصر التي تستند إلى وجهات النظر الأوكرانية الحاسمة للمصالح الوطنية الأوكرانية، مؤكداً أن فريقه يجري في جنيف محادثات مع الاتحاد الأوروبي وأمريكا.

وقال زيلينسكي: «وردت بالفعل تقارير موجزة من أعضاء وفدنا حول نتائج اجتماعاتهم ومحادثاتهم الأولى»، مضيفاً: «لا يزال العمل مستمراً لجعل جميع العناصر فعالة حقاً في تحقيق الهدف الرئيسي الذي ينتظره شعبنا، وهو وضع حد لسفك الدماء والحرب».

وشدد زيلينسكي على ضرورة التوصل إلى نتيجة عملية تُقرّب أوكرانيا وأوروبا بأكملها من سلام وأمن موثوقين، مؤكداً على ضرورة أن يكون هناك حوار، وأن تُنعش الدبلوماسية.

ولفت إلى ضرورة استماع شركائه إلى حججه، مؤكداً على أهمية قيادة الولايات المتحدة، وأعرب عن امتنانه للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب.

وكان أندريه يرماك، مدير مكتب الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، قد قال إن وفد كييف بدأ العمل في جنيف لمناقشة خطة اقترحتها الولايات المتحدة للسلام في أوكرانيا.

وأضاف: «بشكل عام، من المقرر عقد سلسلة من الاجتماعات بأشكال مختلفة اليوم، نواصل العمل معاً لتحقيق سلام مستدام وعادل لأوكرانيا».

ولفت إلى أن الاجتماع القادم سيكون مع الوفد الأمريكي، مشدداً بالقول: «نحن إيجابيون للغاية».

بدوره، ألمح المبعوث الأمريكي الخاص إلى أوكرانيا كيث كيلوغ إلى احتمال أن زيارة فولوديمير زيلينسكي إلى الولايات المتحدة لبحث خطة واشنطن لتسوية الصراع في أوكرانيا، موضحاً أن «الخطة جيدة لكنها تشمل نقاطاً تحتاج إلى تنظيم وتوضيح أكبر، ونحن على وشك الانتهاء، أعتقد أنه عندما يزور زيلينسكي الولايات المتحدة، وهو أمر مرجح، رغم عدم وجود ضمانات، ستكون هناك فرصة للنظر إلى هذه الخطة باعتبارها مناسبة».

ولم يستبعد المبعوث الأمريكي إرفاق وثائق إضافية بخطة السلام، وملحق قد يتضمن ضمانات أمنية.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed today (Sunday) that the American proposals to end the war in Ukraine may include a number of elements based on critical Ukrainian perspectives regarding national interests, emphasizing that his team is holding talks in Geneva with the European Union and the United States.

Zelensky stated, “Brief reports have already come in from our delegation members regarding the outcomes of their initial meetings and discussions,” adding, “Work is still ongoing to make all elements truly effective in achieving the main goal that our people are waiting for, which is to put an end to the bloodshed and the war.”

Zelensky stressed the necessity of reaching a practical outcome that brings Ukraine and all of Europe closer to reliable peace and security, emphasizing the need for dialogue and the revival of diplomacy.

He pointed out the importance of his partners listening to his arguments, underscoring the significance of U.S. leadership, and expressed his gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump.

Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, stated that the Kyiv delegation has begun work in Geneva to discuss a peace plan proposed by the United States for Ukraine.

He added, “In general, a series of meetings in various formats are scheduled for today; we continue to work together to achieve a sustainable and just peace for Ukraine.”

He noted that the next meeting will be with the American delegation, emphasizing, “We are very positive.”

For his part, U.S. Special Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg hinted at the possibility of Volodymyr Zelensky visiting the United States to discuss Washington’s plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, explaining that “the plan is good but includes points that need further organization and clarification, and we are close to finishing. I believe that when Zelensky visits the United States, which is likely, though there are no guarantees, there will be an opportunity to consider this plan as suitable.”

The U.S. envoy did not rule out the possibility of attaching additional documents to the peace plan, including an annex that may contain security guarantees.
