في ساعات الفجر الأولى، استيقظ سكان حي النرجس في التجمع الخامس بالقاهرة الجديدة على مشهد مفاجئ صدم الجميع؛ فجوة ضخمة فُتحت فجأة في أحد الشوارع الداخلية، مخلفة هبوطاً أرضياً غير متوقع. الحادثة أثارت حالة من القلق والرعب بين الأهالي والمارة.
وعلى الفور، هرعت قوات الحماية المدنية إلى موقع البلاغ لتأمين محيط الهبوط ومنع اقتراب المواطنين حفاظاً على سلامتهم، مع الدفع بفرق فنية متخصصة لفحص طبيعة الانهيار وتقدير مخاطره، كما تم إبلاغ الجهات المعنية للمعاينة الأولية.
وتجري الآن عمليات الفحص الفني لتحديد أسباب الهبوط الأرضي، وتستمر أعمال التأمين والرفع الهندسي، لحين الانتهاء من معالجة الهبوط وإعادة فتح الطريق أمام الحركة بصورة آمنة.
In the early hours of dawn, the residents of Al-Narges neighborhood in New Cairo’s Fifth Settlement woke up to a shocking scene that stunned everyone; a massive gap suddenly opened up in one of the internal streets, leaving an unexpected sinkhole. The incident sparked a state of anxiety and fear among the locals and passersby.
Immediately, civil protection forces rushed to the scene to secure the area around the sinkhole and prevent citizens from approaching for their safety, while specialized technical teams were deployed to examine the nature of the collapse and assess its risks. Relevant authorities were also notified for an initial inspection.
Technical inspections are currently underway to determine the causes of the sinkhole, and safety and engineering lifting operations continue until the sinkhole is addressed and the road is safely reopened for traffic.
